The musician who has a penchant of many names and now prefers to be called Mopao Mokonzi or Le Grand Mopao was arrested this morning at 7am from his home according to his locally based Congolese promoter Jules Nsana.
He was arrested for tarnishing the image of DRC by assaulting a female dancer in his aborted visit to Kenya last week. The attack raised an uproar resulting in his deportation the very next day. But his troubles were only starting as he was booed on arrival to Kinshasa and had his Zambia show cancelled.

“This is in protocol with the law- and Koffi is not above the law for having tarnished the name of DRC which has not been taken lightly by many Congolese,” Jules explained.
Could this be the beginning of the downfall of Koffi Olomide or is he just jinxed?
