Now, the Tanzanian rapper has officially made it to parliament.
The rapper, born Joseph Haule, won the Mikumi constituency MP seat in the ongoing Tanzanian general elections.
Running on a CHADEMA party ticket, the rapper got 32259 votes while his closest rival Jonas got 30425 votes.
He took to his Facebook page to thank all the supporters who came out to vote.
“Jimbo la mikumi... Joseph haule (chadema) kura 32259, jonas nkya (ccm) kura 30425. Tumeshinda kwa tofauti ya kura 1834. Asante sana mungu asanteni sana wana mikumi wenzangu kwa kuniamini!!! “
