The Ministry of Education has released Sh2.8 billion and Sh6.5 billion to primary and secondary schools respectively.

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha yesterday announced that the funds were sent during the week.

Prof Magoha, who spoke when he commissioned three classroom blocks at Sagam Secondary in Gem, Siaya County, said secondary schools would receive the remaining half of the funds in due time.
