KIBWEZI, KENYA: As pupils who sat for KCPE in 2018, prepare to join high schools they were admitted to, communities throughout the country are celebrating this important milestone. Admission to a high school, especially to a top secondary school, is seen by many Kenyans as a stepping stone to success.
This is the same feeling of jubilation and hope being experienced in over 300 communities and 44 of the 47 counties in which Bridge International Academies operates in. Over 100 pupils at Bridge who sat for KCPE in 2018 have been admitted to national schools, considered the most prestigious high schools in the country. Multiple pupils have received high school scholarships from individuals, organisations such as Wings To Fly, Kenya Education Fund and KCB, and directly from the schools such as Starehe Boys, Starehe Girls and Mpesa Foundation.
