Students of Kenyatta University have come out to express their sorrow at the passing of their colleague, Mercy Mokeira (pictured), who was a student at the university.
The former Miss World Nyamira County died on Sunday, January 28, 2017, at North Kinangop Hospital after a baffling illness. She had been treated for thyroid complications in mid-December, after which she was discharged. Sadly, she was admitted again in January after her condition appeared to worsen, and passed away on that fateful morning.
