Medical college goes digital in admissions

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is targeting 7,500 new admissions for the first time through an electronic registration. The move is aimed at cutting the cost of paperwork and sealing revenue loopholes.

Speaking in Kisumu over the weekend, KMTC Director Peter Tum said the online registration portal would also help weed out cheats who are unqualified but use unscrupulous means to make their way through the institution.
