Khartoum, Sudan: The International Criminal Court (ICC) judges last week issued an order asking the Saudi Arabian authorities to execute arrest warrants for Sudanese president Omar Hassan al-Bashir who is currently on pilgrimage in Mecca.

The order was in response to an urgent request from the ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda on Wednesday seeking cooperation of Riyadh in apprehending Bashir.
