NAIROBI, KENYA: Lead counsel in the case of Gladys Boss Shollei has asked the Industrial court to reinstate her as the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary.

Donald Kipkorir submitted to the court that his client is willing to take compulsory leave if JSC ‘respondents’ feel she will interfere with the purported investigations.

In a reply affidavit, JSC says it followed due process in laying off Shollei. Lawyer Paul Muite told the court not to grant interim conservatory order pending interparte hearing of the full petition.

“I would submit for the court to determine if the petitioner has made a case to grant the orders in the situation of employer-employee dispute.”
