Woman accused of hiring hitmen to kill her husband let off the hook

Nairobi,Kenya: Faith Wairimu, who is accused of hiring ‘hitmen’ to kill her husband walked out of the court a free person after her husband, John Muthee, dropped the charges. Muthee said he had made the decision for the sake of their child.
Police had told the court how Faith Wairimu had paid ‘hitmen’ a downpayment of Sh40,000 and demanded for bloodstained clothes of her husband to confirm his death before offsetting the Sh120,000 balance.
The hitmen, however, turned out to be undercover policemen.
