Telkom Kenya has launched a new offer dubbed Surf and Talk. The firm expects product will stir the fixed voice and data market. The offer will be available on Telkom Kenya’s Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line platform, which enables faster data transmission over copper telephone lines than conventional voice band modems. Head of Corporate Communications Angela Ng’ang’a-Mumo said the firm plans to enhance its residential data delivery solutions as part of plans for strategic corporate growth. She said, data and fixed line voice services remain the most effective avenues to fuel the growth of Telkom Kenya.
"We want to deepen access to the Internet from the comfort of customers’ homes," Mumo said.
