Boni Khalwale elicits mixed reactions over his remarks concerning Obado’s involvement in Sharon’s murder

There were mixed reactions among netizens on Tuesday after former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale posted a picture with Migori Governor Okoth Obado showing his support concerning the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.

While at the Milimani High Court during Obado’s hearing, the former Senator said he stood with the Governor over the vexing question of the murder of Sharon Otieno.

“This afternoon at the Milimani High Court I stood with my friend Governor Obado over the vexing question of the murder of Sharon Otieno. Let justice ring in ALL the villages of Migori and Homabay,” said Khawale.

Khalwale’s support for Obado caught the attention of most Kenyans on Twitter including NARC-Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua who said she stands with the Sharon family.

“I may not be in court but I stand with the victim’s family!” Karua responded.

Governor Obado is expected to spend more time at the Industrial Area GK Prison after Justice Jessie Lessit denied him bail.

What the hell are you going through to become so erratic and reckless, you used to be Ndume kamili..you think its a simple thing to be accused of taking lives??— Benji Ndolo (@BenjiNdolo) September 25, 2018

Next time you talk about justice, put your small mind to the injustice of a frightened young pregnant girl, in a forest, hands tied behind her back, stabbed eight times by goons....and the loss and pain her family has to bear. #JusticeForSharon— Real African (@tuamue) September 25, 2018

At one time man loved Sharon more than he loved your friendship.
Despite all this, he made sure the woman and her unborn child go through a very painful death.
Don't trust such pple in future. They are worse than beasts of the jungle.— Anthony Mwangi (@Anthony17mwangi) September 25, 2018

Your friend? He admitted sleeping around and impregnated a University girl half his age. You don't deserve such friends Mhesh and people of Migori don't deserve such a Governor. Read Chapter 6 of constitution.. Leadership and integrity.— Nairobians (@CityInTheSun) September 25, 2018
