Central bank to set rates at policy meeting on July 25

The Central Bank of Kenya's Monetary Policy Committee will meet on July 25 to set its benchmark lending rate, the bank said on its website.

The committee surprised the market on May 23 by cutting the rate by 100 basis points to 10.5 percent, saying inflation was expected to decline further.
