Strathmore University Business School is planning to take over 60 small and medium enterprise (SME) business owners to China on a 10-day educational trip. The event aims to expose them to new business practices and experience.
The benchmarking expedition slated for October will enable entrepreneurs to interact with their Chinese counterparts as well as attend the Canton Fair - the largest biannual trade fair held in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
“This is part of our Enterprise Development Programme that aims to provide enterprise owners with the requisite expertise for maximising productivity, growth and profits in their businesses,” said Strathmore Enterprise Development Centre Programmes Manager Alfred Muthanga.
He said the trip will cost SME owners Sh250,000 each.
