A look at the director of Changing Times Jennifer Gatero’s bag

By Wambui Thimba

What bag are you carrying?

An off-white leather bag.

What do you like about it?

It’s big, practical and it can carry a lot of stuff.

How many bags do you have?

I have four and one clutch for special occasions.

Where do you get your bags?

I bought this one from a shop in town, one was a gift, I ‘stole’ another from a friend and the other I bought from Ngara.

Do you change bags often?

Not so often. I usually carry the same bag when going to work, but I change for special occasions.

What would you never leave the house without?

My camera, phone and ipod.

What’s in your bag?

Sony Ericsson phone, chequebook, sleek eye shadow palette, 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing by Al Ries and Jack Trout (I’m very interested in business), loose money (I lost my wallet so I keep money in my bag), bank card, Aryuv wet wipes, two Cover Girl wet slicks lip glosses, Panadol tablets, mini nourishing lotion, Bath & bodyworks sensual body lotion, AXE deodorant body spray, Snickers chocolate, Golden Rose lipstick, car keys, travel toothbrush, Dial antibacterial hand sanitiser, two pairs of sunglasses, data cable, Nikon camera, ipod, flash disk, vitamin pills, pen and black eye pencil.
