Kericho town gears for a facelift

KERICHO; KENYA: Kericho town is set for a major facelift after World Bank released Sh40 million as part of the Sh93 million it pledged for street lighting, improving drainage system, rehabilitation of the garbage site among other amenities.  Speaking after a tour of the garbage site on Friday, the town’s administrator, Richard Mutai said they had received the first phase of the money from World Bank through its Kenya Municipal Councils Programmes project.
