Kenyan shilling steady, traders shrug off president's ICC date

Nairobi, Kenya: The Kenyan shilling held steady on Tuesday as traders shrugged off news that their president would become the first sitting world leader to appear in front of the International Criminal Court.

At 08.04am, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 89.15/35 to the dollar, compared with Monday's close of 89.25/35.
