Decarbonisation of buildings in the construction sector has slowed globally, making them a major source of emissions.

This has increased their vulnerability to climate impacts and energy price shocks, according to a new report from the UN Environment Programme (Unep) and the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC).
