The race to find Kenya's new Controller of Budget is heating up with the Public Service Commission on Friday publishing names of the shortlisted candidates.
A total of 87 people applied to replace Agnes Adhiambo, whose eight-year term of office lapsed last month. Of that, the recruitment committee shortlisted 15 who will now proceed into the interview and vetting stage scheduled between October 9 and October 14, 2019.
Among those shortlisted are Treasury insiders including acting controller of Budget Stephen Masha and others from the private sector and academia.
