NTSA arrests more than 100 drunk drivers in one operation

NAIROBI, KENYA: National Transport and Safety Authority officers arrested more than 100 drunk drivers in its first operation at the weekend after the acquisition of 50 new alcoblow gadgets.

The operation was held on major roads around the city including Thika superhighway and Lang'ata Road where the unsuspecting drivers were arrested after they were confirmed drunk.

Motorist were stopped and asked to take a breathalysers test and those confirmed to have taken alcohol above the recommended amount were arrested.
