Treasury CS Rotich signs Sh1.8 billion to expand Mombasa airport road

MOMBASA, KENYA: The government of Kenya and Trademark East Africa (TMEA) have signed a Sh1.8 billion ( US $ 30 million) agreement to convert the Port Reitz-Moi International Airport access road in Mombasa into a dual carriage highway.

Speaking during the official grant signing ceremony at the Moi International Aiport in Mombasa Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich said that the access road is one of the many government projects to boost economic growth through infrastructure development.
