Kenya Expo to promote trade

The Hindu Council of Kenya, a non-commercial organisation plans to launch Kenya Expo 2015 to market Kenya as an investment destination.

The three-day summit scheduled to run from January 30, 2015 will create an opportunity for organisations and cottage industries to showcase their products and services.

Hindu Council of Kenya chairman Mr Nitin Malde says the Expo will be open to the public and will also involve series of cultural events.

“We intend to create a forum where organisations can interact, promote trade and exchange information. The forum will also enable us to form a special socio-cultural bonding among members,” he added.

There will be free medical checkup services for visitors. The Expo’s proceeds will go to worthy causes such as relief, welfare, environmental projects, health awareness and education to the needy.
