President William Ruto recently ruled out appointing members of the opposition into his government. To him, this is to ensure there is a strong opposition to check the government which will help the Kenya Kwanza administration to fulfil the pledges it made to Kenyans ahead of August 9.
Ruto's statement may have ruled out a return of some of the top civil servants who served in the Jubilee administration, especially because they took side with Mr Kenyatta following his fallout with President Ruto, his then deputy.
