Johnson Sakaja and Joseph ole Lenku lead in Nairobi, Kajiado

Businesswoman Agnes Kagure, Denise Kodhe, Esther Waringa Thairu, Harman Singh Grewal, Kenneth Nyamwamu, Nancy Wambui Mwadime and Cleophas Kiio Mutua would collectively garner only one per cent of the vote.

The number of undecided voters account for 10 per cent, a drastic reduction from 53 per cent in May.

In the Nairobi Senate race, Edwin Sifuna the secretary general of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party would bag the seat with 47 per cent of the vote, according to the survey.

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) would emerge second with 19 per cent.

Others in the race have slightly over one per cent while 33 per cent are yet to decide whom to vote for as senator.

Most preferred candidate

According to the poll, in the Woman Representative race, Esther Passaris, also from the Raila Odinga-led ODM party - is leading with 44 per cent of the vote, followed by UDA's Millicent Omanga with 28 per cent.

Twenty-seven per cent of the electorate are still undecided on who to back while one per cent have collectively settled for the other candidates.

Results from the survey released just five days to the August 9 elections show ODM is the most popular party in Nairobi at 35 per cent with Deputy President William Ruto's UDA coming second at 30 per cent.

The ruling Jubilee party is the third most popular political party at five per cent.

George Wajackoyah's Roots Party is fourth with four per cent and Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper party enjoys three per cent support with other parties receiving one per cent.

At the same time, 20 per cent of the city electorate are still undecided on whom to vote for.

In Kajiado, the Tifa poll shows Governor Lenku leads other contenders with thirty-six per cent of the vote.

UDA's Katoo Metito and Jubilee's David Nkedianye trail the governor with each securing 25 per cent of the vote.

Independent candidate Peter Ambrose has one per cent and the remaining 13 per cent of voters are undecided.

In the Senate race, ODM's Judith Pareno is leading with 20 per cent, closely followed by Jubilee's Moses Sakuda and UDA's Seki ole Kanar who tied at 19 per cent.

Gitau Tildah Sonia of Usawa Kwa Wote party garnered two per cent while Nkeri Simon Peter (TSP) and Toimasi Gideon Loolkinyoki (Wiper) each managed one per cent of the vote.

In the Woman Representative race, majority - represented by 43 per cent - are undecided.

Sankaire Leah Sopiato of UDA is, however, the most preferred candidate with 23 per cent followed by Moinkett Jennipher Sayianka (ODM) who commands 13 per cent.

Mathenge Lucy Wachuka (The Service Party) and Simayai Rakita Justine (Jubilee) tied at seven per cent.

Independent candidate Abdukadir Halima is fourth with four per cent followed by Namapaso Jane (KRP) with two per cent.

The figures show that Sekeyian Tito Josephine only has one percent of the vote.
