Calls by Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi for investigations into the passage of Sh12 billion Kisii county budget has attracted criticism from Governor James Ongwae and a section of local leaders.

On Friday ODM Kisii governor candidate Simba Arati called for investigations into the passage of 2022/23 Financial year estimates alleging that the Kisii county assembly MCAs did not follow the right procedure while debating the estimates.
