Popular comedian Teacher Wanjiku has established a boot camp to empower female comedians.
Speaking to Pinky Ghelani on her show, the comedian said, “I started the first bootcamp because every single challenge I went through in the industry about finances, mental health and branding, I will teach upcoming female comedians.”

She also said other female comedians should be open to supporting each other.
“In the comedy industry, women should learn to support each other and avoid small fights..”
The comedian opened up why her rates are high.
“We have had a difficult time in the industry when it comes to branding. Some people claim I am the most expensive comedian, but I have worked hard to build my brand. You must know your value”
