Woman accused of selling her child arrested in Nyamira

A woman who sold her son for about 14,000 has been arrested. Irene Kemunto, who is the mother of the seven-year-old child who was trafficked from Elementaita in Nakuru County, was arrested at Nyansiongo, Nyamira County, alongside another woman who was identified as Ziporah Nyabate.

Nyabate who had allegedly bought the kid for Sh13,800 was nabbed at her home in Kisii Town where the child was found.
