It is with a heavy heart that we received news of the death of professional basketball icon, Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant and seven other victims of a fatal helicopter crash that occurred on January 26. The former Los Angeles Lakers player and one of the greatest National Basketball Association (NBA) players of all time passed on at the age of 41. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Vanessa Bryant, and his remaining children, Natalia, Bianka and Capri.
Bryant’s successful basketball career spanned over a 21 year period, and he is widely respected and regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He started playing basketball at the astonishing age of three and the Lakers were his favourite team growing up. Kobe Bryant’s legacy will live on and he will never be forgotten.
