Three judge bench to hear Sh87billion tea case

Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony receives Chief Justice David Maraga.

Chief Justice David Maraga has announced that a three-judge Bench will be constituted to hear and determine a Sh87 billion case against the Kenya Tea Development Authority (KTDA) that stalled five years ago.

In the case, Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony wanted the constitutional court to compel the agency to refund the money it had taken from farmers.
