Transport along the Mai Mahiu-Narok Highway has been paralysed after members of the Maasai community blocked the road to protest the killing of their herds of sheep.

32 sheep were killed by the speeding truck in an accident near Satellite trading center 10kms from Mai Mahiu town. The truck driver was arrested and the vehicle seized.
