Thank God I made it, says CS Chelugui after graduating with Masters in Finance

Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui on Friday thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto for supporting him after completing his Master’s degree at the University of Nairobi (UoN).

CS Chelugui who was studying while in office managed to graduate with a Master's degree in finance and investment. 

 He took to his social media to thank God for the strength and express his delight for managing what he described as a tedious process.

“This milestone would not be possible without the immense and unconditional support of President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto, my cabinet colleagues and the ministry,” he wrote on his Twitter.

“Glory and honour to Almighty God on this day as I graduate with Masters of Science in Finance and Investment from the University of Nairobi.”

Simon Chelugui joined the list of government officials to have graduated while in office top on the list being DP Ruto and Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa who graduated with PhD in Plant Ecology and Masters in Law respectively in 2018.

UoN, Kenyatta University, Kabarak University, Kisii University among others held their graduation ceremonies on December 20 across the country On Friday.
