55 squatting families left homeless after demolitions [Photos]

The squatters managed to salvage a few of their belongings.

Over 50 families from Ndururumo farm in Solai, Subukia sub-county, Nakuru have been left homeless after their houses were demolished at dawn by a Nakuru based auctioneering firm as police guarded.

The squatters have been living in the controversial land said to be owned by Muhu Holdings for the last 50 years and claim they have no other place to call home.
