Andrey Shirley, the global editor of Knight Frank’s Wealth Report, is a well travelled man. His quest to get into the minds and hearts of the world’s super-rich saw him hobnob with top executives in the world of business in the past year.
As he launched the current edition of the report at Nairobi’s Serena Hotel last week, he waxed lyrical about a 60-year-old bottle of Macallan 1926 that became the most expensive bottle of whisky ever sold at Sh150 million, “outperforming all other investments of passion”.
