It's a very exciting time for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as they prepare to welcome their first child and move house.

But while royal fans probably hoped they would take some time out to celebrate their first Valentine's Day as a married couple, they will actually be spending the day apart.

Harry will spend the day in Norway visiting a remote training camp 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle.

Meghan is a huge fan of the day, and has previously written: "Hook, line and sinker, I am such a sucker for Valentine's Day", so we expect it was a disappointing diary clash.

But even though she won't have her hubby by her side, we're sure Meghan will have a lovely time as she's spoken about the importance of spending the day with friends in the past.

Writing on her old blog The Tig, she said: "I think you need to be your own Valentine."

Kensington Palace revealed Prince Harry's Valentine's visit back in January.

The statement read: "The Duke of Sussex will meet military personnel living and training on the base, view some of the specialist outdoor severe weather equipment and training that is conducted at Clockwork and talk with expert aircrews and engineers."

His trip will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Exercise Clockwork in Bardufoss - the traditional name of the annual winter exercise that trains Royal Marines and Royal Navy sailors and airmen.

Even though it sounds like an exciting trip, it means Meghan will be spending the day without her new hubby.

The couple are expecting their first child in the next few months, and Meghan has said her due date is around April.

Before the baby arrives they are moving out of Kensington Palace and setting up home in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
