The 25th annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards has brought out the glittering best of Hollywood to the star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles.

While there were a few fashion faux pas, a number of 'A' listers were looking stunning in their chosen outfits for the evening.

With so many sparkling in the flashbulbs of the red carpet, these were the chosen few to be designed with the honour of 'best dressed'.

Leading the way was 28-year-old Australian actress Margot Robbie, who stunned the red carpet in a plunging white and gold gown.

She had competition for best dressed at the ceremony from Lady Gaga, who wore a Christian Dior dress that only debuted in Paris at the beginning of the week.

The sleeveless haute couture dress, with high thigh slit was the talk of the awards, though it didn't bring her luck as she left empty-handed.

Sandra Oh meanwhile, did win big and this may have been brought by the confidence of rocking an embellished red crepe gown.

Rachel Weisz had her hair 'inspired' by the Givenchy gown that she was wearing. Her designer revealed that the centre parting was brought about by the, "asymmetrical neckline of her velvet and feathered gown."

Catherine Zeta Jones meanwhile was happy to flash a lot of cleavage as well as her long legs. The 48-year-old wore a royal blue dress with a plunging neckline.

La La Land star Emma Stone was a head-turner with her one-sleeve gold top with neck bow, accompanied by some wide-leg, high-waist trousers.

This was topped off by auburn tresses in her short bob that chose for the evening.

There was one person that was definitely feeling a million dollars on the red carpet.

Jane Fonda, 81, not only looked the business in a fish-scale dress with matching bright lipstick, she also wore a $3million (Sh300 million) diamond ring.

If that wasn't enough, her chandelier earrings by Gismondi 1754 feature 40 carats of diamonds and cost a cool $400,000 (Sh40 million).

Let's hope she doesn't leave them lying around somewhere.
