A school that supports bright students from from poor families felled the regions' academic giants in this year's KCSE examination.

Kisima Mixed Secondary School in Nyahururu posted a mean grade of B+ (9.5 points) up from last year's grade B (9.2 points) to emerge among the best in the country.
