AFC Leopards coach Nicola Kavazovic is in town ready to handle the club. The Serbian coach was handed a two year-deal to replace Rodolfo Zapata, who ironically took his place at Township Rollers in Botswana. Zapata, who was with Gaborone United before he moved to Kenya in May, 2017, walked out of his two-year contract with Ingwe after he fell out with the management.
The 43-year-old Serbian will be tasked with helping Ingwe win their first Kenyan Premier League title in 20 years. Kavazovic, who started his coaching career in 1996, was as of July 2-12, the youngest national team head coach in the world.
