Locals irked by ‘fisi’ athlete who ‘eats raw talent’ mercilessly

A senior athlete is notorious for using his deep pockets to lure and chew budding female athletes in various training camps in Rift Valley. 

The athlete has a tendency of visiting various camps loaded with cash and driving big cars to show off to women.

Some locals have expressed fear over they have termed as ‘mapenzi ya ukora’.

“With the money and big cars, our women are lured into some funny relationships,“ a source told Offside. Some of the local female athletes have dropped their quest to become international athletes after being lured and impregnated by their moneyed colleagues in the camps.

“They come here pretending to be role models yet they are mafisi,” another local said.

Athletics being an economic activity in the region, parents and husbands of young women interested in athletics allow them to attend various training camps to hone their skills, but with fear of rampant ‘dehorning’ in the camps, his might change.
