A businessman who was arrested in 2016 with Sh18.5 million stashed in his car is now asking the High Court to unfreeze his bank account so that he can get access to Sh2 million to fend for his family.

Stephen Mang'ira, a herbalist, has been charged with drug trafficking and money laundering.

Mr Mang'ira, who runs a car hire and sales business in Kericho, said his two wives and seven children were suffering because he was unable to pay house rent and school fees.
