Kenya’s Boldest Voice

Today would have been Reginah Katar’s birthday. Reginah, the late wife to award-winning music producer Tedd Josiah passed on September last year. This was just months after she gave birth to their adorable daughter ‘Gummy bear’. Her death was as a result of low platelet count. Her platelet level fell below normal after delivery.
To celebrate her birthday, the single dad of one penned a long and emotional message to Reginah ‘in heaven’. This came hours after he ranted about how maternal health care is not given the depth and seriousness it deserves in Kenya. This was in regard to Reginah’s death.
