A 26-year-old gold miner died after walls of a mine collapsed and caved in at Yamo Oloko village, Bondo sub-county.
Area assistant chief Michael Osare, said the deceased -William Ochieng’ Juma-sought shelter inside the mine when it started raining. But shortly after, it collapsed trapping him inside.
