Man dies after his friend stabs him during a fight

A 20-year-old man has been stabbed to death by his friend in Loikas slum in Maralal town.

Samburu County Commander Alfred Agengo said the incident occurred during a fight. Police are yet to establish the cause of the fight.

Mr Agengo said the victim succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment at Samburu county referral hospital.

The police boss said the suspect, who is known to the public, escaped after the incident on Sunday night.

He urged the public to volunteer information that could lead to the suspect's arrest.
