Two Gor Mahia players are staring at uncertainty in their career after Sportpesa Premier League champions left them out of the squad set to play in the Confederations of African Football Champions League.

Gor Mahia midfielder Kenneth Muguna and skipper Musa Mohammed may have to wait longer to get their future sorted, as their attempts to secure a move from the Green Army have been hampered by lack of agreement between the club and the interested Albanian outfit.

Muguna has been linked with a switch to FKF Tirana for a while, and the champions looked to have sanctioned his departure only for the deadlock to surmount his transfer. Kenyan champions are said to have accused the Albanian club for playing mind games and failing to foot the $ 40,0000 (Kshs 4,000,000) price tag that has been slapped on the player.

The former Kenya Premier League player of the year and MVP is said to have been enticed by Marcelo Fereira, a former Gor Mahia Coach who is keen on bringing the young midfield dynamo to his side.

However, a statement from the Gor Mahia Assistant Secretary General Ronald Ngala states that Musa Mohammed’s situation is quite soft given the fact that his contract expired and he opted not to renew it.

The duo will be hoping to get their future sorted out within time before it is too late for them. Meanwhile, KÓgalo is preparing for the CAF Champions League tournament that will kick off early next month. The Green Army will launch their campaign with a fixture against Vegetarianos of Equatorial Guinea.
