Commuters using Mombasa road are forced to persevere long hours on the route due to a heavy traffic snarl-up. The traffic gridlock started early afternoon as residents made their way to Machakos stadium where the national football team Harambee Stars were facing Zanzibar in the Cecafa final.
“I am afraid those who will leave the City after 1pm might find the game ongoing. This traffic is quickly building up,” said Philip Otieno, a fan.
