Maize farmers have expressed their frustration with long queues outside National Cereals and Produce Board NCPB silos.

Lorries delivering maize at the board's silos had formed a three-kilometre queue.

“I was here yesterday and I am still here today waiting for the long queues to move,” said John Kiplagat, a farmer.

Titus Maiyo, the NCPB corporate affairs manager, advised farmers they could still deliver maize at depots in Kisumu, Bungoma and Nakuru to avoid congestion.
