Governors have set up a 10-member committee to ease the political tensions in the country.

The members are Josphat Nanok (Turkana, also the convener), Cornell Rasanga (Siaya), Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni), Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega), and Joyce Laboso (Bomet).
