Governor panics after nominees are found to have forged academic certificates

A governor from the Central Rift is in panic mode after it emerged that most of his nominees for member of County Executive Committee positions are either holding forged papers or are incompetent as per the vetting by Members of County Assembly and may be rejected.

This is despite the fact that the said governor already received advance favors from nominees both in cash for campaigns and in kind. His confidants say the governor is such a worried man that he has been calling the members of the Appointments committee promising them all kind of favors from his administration if only they pass the nominees.
