"I will announce my next cause of action once the governor-elect is sworn in. I can confirm that I will be present to hand over and thereafter tell Kenyans where I will be heading to."

When asked if he intended to join Jubilee Party, Ruto refuted the claims saying they were mere lies since he was the party leader for Chama cha Mashinani and hence could not defect to another political party.

"I am Chama Cha Mashinani party leader. How can I defect to another political outfit. Jubilee has not approached me but I have seen things blown out of proportion on social media," he added.

Isaac Ruto joined NASA becoming its fifth principal after Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula.

He garnered 86,282 votes against Laboso’s 176,712.
