Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes the midfield Tottenham deployed against Chelsea on Sunday wasn’t good enough to trouble Conte’s men.

Premier League champions Chelsea got the boost they badly needed as a double from Marcos Alonso gave them a 2-1 victory over last season's runners-up Tottenham Hotspur in Antonio Conte's 50th game in charge.

According to hitc.com, Wright, whilst on BBC Radio 5live 606, poured doubt over Wanyama’s weak link in the Tottenham Hotspur midfield.

“In respects of Wanyama, you have to look at the other side of it as well,” said the former Arsenal striker.

“If you look at their midfield, who would you say is the weakest link in respects of passing and controlling in the Tottenham midfield, would you say? I would probably say it would be Wanyama.”
