The National Treasury has released a report stating that the country is going to spend Sh 49 billion in the August 8 General Election.
According to a pre-election fiscal report 2017, the overall budget allocation of the General Election for 2017 is Sh 49billion composed of Sh27 billion which was allocated and disbursed in 2016/17 and Sh22 billion in 2017/18.
