Nairobi Jubilee governorship candidate Mike Sonko yesterday got a major boost after the Kamba and Gema community leaders endorsed his election. The meeting held at All African Conferences of Churches was attended by among others Health CS Cleopa Mailu, Foreign Affairs PS Monica Juma, Insurance expert Sammy Makove and former EACC boss Mumo Matemu, among other Government officials.
The group led by Bishop Peter Njenga the co-chairman accompanied by members of the Akamba Governing Council said their endorsement came after scrutinising all candidates and settling on the Nairobi senator for his interest in development as well as respect to other communities.
